Australian Open

The Australian Open Federer Fashion Federation. "What's love got to do, got to do with it??"

Glued to the wall...

Sharon did not let Pakenham down with her brilliant idea to host a gathering of die-hard tennis fans (albeit first time die-hard tennis fans) to watch the match.

Tennis ball cupcakes on a tennis court table - A smashing way to celebrate the Australian Open men's final.

GO BANANAS!!!!

Breaking news in the Pakenham district as banana prices plummet. The $13 price drop has sent Pakenham citizens into a smiling frenzy!!!

An American Tale Part 3 - More Aussie stuff!

How could we not show our friends the best place in world (named after people of similar title) - Parker Point.

Regocnise this?

The ultimate road-trip shot!

'Boy2Boys' - New album out soon!

Looking down at the ferns.

Stephen excelled as a tour guide and took the boys on a road trip down the Great Ocean Road. Before the reached the ocean, they took a tree-top walk in the Otways.

This photo was taken out the front of Don & Daile's beach house - just about to cut up some sick waves.

An American Tale Part 2 - A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. But what about a bird in the hand IN the bush?? I think we've found a winner!!

Brad and the King Parrot. Gnarly!!

Last time I fed the birds at this spot I remembered there being far less big ones with sharp and powerful jaws.

He was quite a natural after that.

We took a trip up to Kallista to show Danny & Brad some wildlife up close. We set Dan up with a few 'must haves' to get him started.

An American Tale Part 1 - Americans Train for a taste of Oz!

"I've got it sor'ed"

We thought this shot was kinda cool - taken from inside the carriage looking out at us hanging out the window. You may also notice my eskimo jacket - our Americans we lucky enough to experience Melbourne summer's diversity.

The actual train.

Um! Can't go wrong with a trip on Puffing Billy!

Stephen's friend 'Danny from Florida' came to visit Pakenham these last couple of weeks. He brought his friend Brad & they were known as 'The Americans'. As we all know, here in Paky we like to show anyone who comes to visit a good time & make sure they see all the sights!! First step - leave Pakenham.

A Comets Tale

Last Tuesday the clouds & the smokey haze over melbourne lifted to give us a spectacular view of Comet 'McNaught' - a piece of ice & dust the size of mount everest just passing by our humble little planet on it's way around a 100,000 year circuit. After seeing how amazing it looked even through Pakenham's light polluted sky we got a big group together the following night and trecked up Mt Cannibal to take a clearer look. Walking up and watching the thick clouds cover over was a character building moment & for a little while we were all exclaiming "It's a nice walk anyway - so nice to all catch up" etc etc. But alas, as the sun went down we found the comet appeard right in the only line of sky that was cloudless! Thank you God! A night that won't be forgotten.

PAKY BIRTHDAY STEPHEN!!!!

What is a birthday party for Stephen without inconveniencing traffic with a little bit of night-time road cricket with wheelie bin wickets!?

"You should have seen the other guy!!!"

The party also helped successfully raise funds for a new charity right here in Pakenham - 'Stephen's Surfboard Fund Appeal'

Where's wally?? No...no!!... that's Pete silly!

Sharon works her magic once again.

Stephen may have been 'not 30' but he definately didn't have a 'not birthday party'. The Log Lodge was bustling with friends and family to help Stephen celebrate his 'not 30th'! Probably have to change the theme for next year.

Kumbaya! - Wilson'sProm

Boy x 5

I didn't love the glasses because of their super x-ray powers, but more because of how sexy they made me look.

A pretty lucky find. Maddie stumbled across someone's lost x-ray vision glasses on Squeaky Beach.

There's no explanation.

Sadly this wasn't set up. Enlarge the picture and you'll see just how environmentally friendly our dear Matt is.

"Stefern" - A small child really did run away from him with terror in his eyes! I doubt the poor little tacker will grow up with a love of bushwalking - Unfortunate.

"The Madiator" proves her awesome strength!

Camping at Wilson's Prom opened opportunities for some crazy behaviour. With everyone still buzzing from Christmas we were ready to soak up the sun, relax and just plain muck around.

Sources have revealed that a rival Blogspot which will remain unnamed for the time being has published photos of a very similar nature to this one. 'Oh Paky Day' would like to clarify that all the images used in this bulletin are 'never before seen' and are truly authentic.

NEW! Log Lodge Annual Kris Kringle!

He did....

No. He's not going to! Is he??

This might be a good time to mention that Hannah also got married in December. This 'photo within a photo' is the only wedding shot I have so far...

Unwrapping gifts.
This festive season brought with it the first Luxury Log Lodge Kris Kringle for all it's residents (and one ex-resident who managed to get in on a technicality). Check out what some of us scored!

PAKY BIRTHDAY SARAH!!!!!!!

PAKY BIRTHDAY DANIELLE!!!!

"Goodbye Sorrento! Thanks for a lovely day! Seeya next time!"

Ray enjoys his reward for being so well behaved on the long ferry trip across the bay! Good boy Ray!

Jemma says - "Was that someones lipstick?"
Claire replies - "Yes. It's ok! It was mine, but don't worry, it wasn't really a good one & I didn't use it much anyway"
(based on a true story - names and faces were not changed to protect the innocent)

Danielle's Birthday attracted Pakenhamites in droves!!! Well, actually, we cruised! On a boat! A big one! We met down at Sorrento to surprise Danielle with a cruise across to Queenscliff where we enjoyed birthday treats such as ice-cream & soccer!

Danielle, our belle!
